Description: "Anna runs the Social Innovation Camp, a project funded by NESTA and based at the Young Foundation in London. Launched in January 2008, the Social Innovation Camp is an experiment in how the web and related technologies can be used for social innovation. The first Camp ran in April 2008 and brought talented software developers and designers together with social needs experts and entrepreneurs, to accelerate six ideas for web-based social innovations from concept to early-stage start-ups in just two days.
Previously, Anna has carried out research on a range of technology-related subjects, from open source manufacturing to the sociology of social networks. She has also run large-scale science and innovation events for the UK think-tank Demos."
