Description: I work as Legal Adviser to the State Secretary for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Portugal since 2005, where I serve in the preparation of legislation to be submitted to the Portuguese Council of Ministers. I am also directly involved in the implementation of the Portuguese Better Law-Making and Regulation Programme, adopted to improve the quality of legislation and the efficiency of the law-making process, as well as to enhance public participation and acessibility to legislation.
As an individual, I am highly interested in finding better methods to address public participation and to improve the quality of democracy and in innovation in Government and public sector.
