Young Adults in the Criminal Justice System

Dear All,

My team here at YF are organising a seminar on the policing of young adults - aged between 18 and 25. We are interested in any innovative approaches to this issue - how do you divert those who are vulnerable out of the criminal justice process, what strategies there to to ensure that those from minority backgrounds are not over-represented among those stopped / arrested by the police, etc.

I  would be very interested in any innovative international case studies, ideas or similar research you might have or know of.
