Alcohol Concern is a national voluntary agency that aims to reduce the instances of alcohol-related harm and increase and increase the range of services available to those with alcohol-related issues.
Alcohol Concern exists to reduce the negative impact alcohol can have on communities, families and individuals. We do this by influencing policy at the highest level, improving practice across the country through training and innovative projects and providing first class information to the public. Alcohol Concern believes that a twin approach is needed to tackle what is becoming one of the biggest public health problems in the UK: we need more support for individuals and their families who experience problems with alcohol and better regulation and monitoring of the drinks industry.
